Anchóniá - Show Concept
Anchóniá is a fashion show concept. It is developed for a designer who wants to make a strong political or social point with his/her show. The name “Anchóniá” is derived from the Greek “αγχόνη (anchóni)” which means “Gallows”. The gallows set is at the center of the stage. It is inspired by gallows from the 18th century. The runway surrounds it. Beneath the hanging platform are piles of scattered skeletons and bones. As this is a concept, the designer should adapt the style of the gallows to best match with their collection. It’s always great to make a statement with your show but the collection being shown is the priority.
